Description
From the Earth to the Moon (French: De la Terre à la Lune) is another science fiction classic from Jules Verne which was originally published in French during 1865 and translated and published into English the following year. This novel was most notable for Jules Verne making detailed computations on what it would take to launch a craft unto the surface of the moon. Surprisingly enough, Verne’s calculations was very close to fact.
