This is another children’s story book from Thornton W. Burgess. The Adventures of Jimmy Kunk tells the adventures of the titular skunk and his visits with many of the other woodland residents of Green Meadows. As with Burgess’ other children’s stories, Jimmy Skunk will learn some valuable life lessons along the way as he journeys around the land.

Read by John Lieder, this free audiobook is a great way to help teach children valuable lessons about control, having a word of honor, and not hurting other’s feelings with practical jokes that are made in bad taste. If you want to go a little deeper, Burgess will also focus on Jimmy Skunk’s natural defense mechanism and the benefits of the belief: a good defense is the best offense.
