In this real, gritty, and dark look into one man’s journey into the life of piracy in 1800’s, Aaron Smith pulls no punches in describing the horrific atrocities that happen back in a time when piracy was a serious problem out in the open seas. This free audiobook takes into account the experiences of Smith back in 1822.

Aaron Smith was a young English seaman whose ship was attacked by a group of Cuban pirates. He was taken by the pirates and forced to work as their navigator. He was also forced to participate in boarding parties wherein he witnessed some of the most horrific actions man has inflicted on his fellow man.

During his time as captive/unwilling member of the pirates, he was befriended by a Cuban woman who made his stay there more bearable. He managed to escape his captors but was later arrested in Havana and was sent back to England as a criminal. This free audiobook details Aaron Smith’s personal accounts on what happened during his stay with the pirates.
