This is a free audiobook edition of the science fiction novel The Creature from Beyond Infinity written by Henry Kuttner. The story centers on an alien traveller who is looking for a new planet for his people to colonize. In his long and arduous travel he discovers the planet Earth. His exuberance of finding a habitable planet quickly disappeared when he learns that the planet is being ravaged by a plague that threatens to wipe out all life on the planet leaving it once again uninhabitable. Now, the alien scientist must decide whether to leave the planet and condemn its inhabitants to their death or find a cure to stop this epidemic and save both the planet’s inhabitants and his own people.

Mark Nelson, the narrator of this free audiobook does a fine job of capturing the listener’s imagination with his performance. While a bit dramatic at certain points, The Creature from Beyond Infinity is an interesting science fiction audiobook that dives into an interesting notion of how humanity began on this planet.
