Robinson Crusoe by Daniel DeFoe – A free audiobook
Narrated by Mark F. Smith
Daniel DeFoe’s bad lucked yet strong willed character, Robinson Crusoe is one of the most enduring fictional characters in fiction. This free audiobook edition of the titular character’s misadventures is a must listen for fans of the genre. The long winding tale of Robinson Crusoe starts off when he gets captured by pirates at sea. After several days of planning he was able to escape his captors while jumping to a small boat and paddling from one adventure to the next towards his way back to civilization.
Ending up in Brazil, he toiled his way to prosperity and became a rather successful planter. However, it appears his true calling is somewhere else as he found this life to be rather droll. And so, Crusoe partook in another voyage that this time left him marooned in a small unknown island off of South America.
Robinson Crusoe once again shows a gift that he had ever since, the unbreakable will to survive. He builds a shelter, clothes himself and found ways to feed himself while planning on getting of his cage less prison. But the dangers will not stop on piling as Crusone will soon find out about the other inhabitants of this island.
