Uneasy Money by P. G. Wodehouse – A free audiobook
Narrated by Tim Bulkeley
Uneasy Money was a romantic comedy novel written by P.G. Wodehouse that was first published during World War I. As with Wodehouse’s other works this one is fun escapism story for readers/listeners. While this is more romantic than his previous works it is by no means less humorous. Uneasy Money is a free audiobook edition of Wodehouse’s classic love story combined with Wodehouse’s wit and is read by Tim Bulkeley.
Uneasy Money is the tale of Lord Dawlish who inherits a massive five million dollars but discovers some of the downsides to his new found wealth. The story opens with Bill Dawlish, a kind hearted man that is engaged to a demanding actress. When he found out of his extremely large inheritance his simple life became increasingly more complicated. With misunderstanding after misunderstanding, it seems that this inheritance might as well have been a curse.
Uneasy Money is a tale of a rather simple life that is complicated by money. Money may make the world go around but it can also make it whirl around so fast that it will leave you dazed and confused. P.G. Wodehouse has made another fun tale that will surely give listeners another amusing tale to ponder and laugh about.
