Valhalla Audio Book Summary:
When ex-Air Force General Steven Macaulay was tasked to lead an expedition team to recover a lost World War 2 plane it was all routine. That is until they discover something mind-blowing. Deep in the ice covered Greenland terrain Macaulay and his team uncover a perfectly preserved Viking ship buried for a thousand years and with its crew still intact in their icy tomb.
Sending word out, Macaulay assembles the top Viking scholars to help them dig up the find of the century and tasks Lexy Vaughan to assist in translating the ship’s markings. Their celebration is cut short when Lexy and Steven discover that most of their colleagues have been murdered. Stranded and having no one to rely on but each other, both will try to survive as a shadowy cult hunts them down trying to keep the secrets held within the Viking ship away from the world.
Will Steven Macaulay and Lexy Vaughan find a way out of this dead cat and mouse game or will they join the Vikings within the icy tombs to be forever lost in time?

Reactions:
“I was hooked from the beginning. The book moves at record speed with an exciting narrative and fun twists. The characters are “well-drawn” and interesting, and most importantly, likable.” – S. Beck

“Valhalla is another terrific thriller fiction from an author with impeccable non-fiction credentials, earned from his solid collection of Civil and World War II works. As a former U.S. Congressman and Viet Nam war veteran, he obviously brings a ton of personal experience to the table in terms of toe-to-toe combat…political, military and lunatic fringe.” – James L. Crowell

“This book reads like a movie playing in your head. As pure entertainment and fun and thrill and mystery and science and history, it will not disappoint. Mrazek’s full speed ahead, on-point flair does not get bogged down in hyperbole or embellishment or the predictable formulas present in so many contemporary thrillers.” – Thurd

“My fellow reviewers have pointed out that Valhalla reads like a Clive Cussler novel. It also reminded me of Matthew Reilly adventures. It is unquestionably formula but well done formula. All of the required components are present.” – Jeffrey Swystun

“Easy read. Follows the same formula as most of this genre…” – Michael Burnley
