The first one was a traditional audiobook being read by a single narrator while this one took on a different approach and used several Librivox performers to create a dramatic reading of the story written by John Charlotte Bronte.

The story centers on our protagonist, Lucy Snowe. Her story starts when a family disaster transpired which ten forced her to travel to the fictional city of Villete in order to be a teacher in an all-girls school. However, it seems that she could never escape whatever life has in store for her as she is once again swept in an unlikely adventure and a budding romance
