Wrecked Audio Book Summary:
The novel by USA Today and New York Times Best Selling Author, Elle Casey, is now available in audiobook form. Wrecked is touted as a blend between Swiss Family Robinson and The Breakfast Club and while those two classic stories are anything but similar they are two flavors that surprisingly work well with each other.
The story centers around four survivors of a shipwreck. What was supposed to be the vacation of a lifetime turned into a horrible nightmare as the Caribbean cruise that carried Jonathan, Candi, Kevin and Sarah sinks in the middle of nowhere, stranding the four on a remote island with no means of calling for help.
What makes things more complicated is the fact that the four are completely different from each other in terms of personality. But they will be forced to put aside their differences if they wish to get off this island and get back home in once piece!
Unfortunately, lady luck seems to not be on their side as they will have to face a dastardly intruder in their own self made paradise. The story is filled with exciting set pieces where the four must fight for their lives, face their fears and enjoy some laughter and maybe even discover love.
One reason to listen:
This adventure tale for teenagers have a little more mature content for those looking for something with a little more edge to their standard young adult audiobooks.
