Reactions:

“Cinder is a beautiful, sweet-natured, refreshing change of pace and I appreciate MacMillon Audio for allowing me a free copy to review. If you don’t believe me, have a listen for yourself to a short clip from Cinder by Marissa Meyer.” – J. Wolf

“Cinder is an entertaining kickoff to the quadrilogy, and it left me excited about the series and eager to read more. I think Cinder would appeal to fans of fairytale retellings, Sci-Fi, dystopian, and romance. The next book of The Lunar Chronicles is called Scarlet, and yes it’s about Little Red Riding Hood, though Cinder’s story also continues. Scarlet is due out next year.” – Lucy (Reading Date)

“I’ve listened to books narrated by Rebecca Soler before, and she’s always been amazing. The voices she uses while performing the story adds a whole new dimension and depth to it, making it even more enjoyable and fun.” – Lisa “Lost in Translation”

“She is the BEST audiobook reader I have heard, and particularly when more characters are added in the later books it’s so much fun to listen to and hear the different accents she does. I think Rebecca Soler adds to this series, which for me is rare in audiobooks as I usually shy away from it.” – Notsabrina

“Didn’t love where we ended things, especially since the next book focuses on Red Riding Hood (i.e. Scarlet). Imagine hearing all about Cinderella’s background, how she loves the prince, going through far more trials than you’d expect of the storybook character, finding out she’s important, and then ending the book at the stroke of midnight? Maddening.” – Dr. Lorna
