If You Find Me is a mystery tale filled with the challenges of growing up and the important questions concerning love, family and truth. The story centers on two sisters named Carey who is 14 years old and her 6 year old sister Jenessa who has been living in the woods with their mother since they were first able to talk. The truth is that both sisters were taken by their mother from an early age and taken into the woods without any rhyme or reason which caused their father pain and grief.
However, one day their mother vanished as well leaving the two to fend for themselves. But as luck would have it, they are finally reunited with their father who brings them back into a world that is quite alien them. A life filled with new clothes, delicious food and shopping malls. Carey wants nothing more than to embrace this new world she has been introduced in but is being held back by her loyalty to her mentally ill mother. But there is also something that keeps haunting Carey even to this day, the events that unfolded one faithful night in the woods that shocked her sister to her very core that she stopped speaking. Can Carey finally embrace the new life that their father offers her and her sister? Will Jenessa finally snap out of her shock and what secrets lay within the years that they spent in the woods with their mother?
