Jacqueline of Golden River by H. M. Egbert – A free audiobook

Narrated by Roger Melin

Jacqueline of Golden River is a novel written by H.M. Egbert and is now available for free in its audiobook form. This is story filled with mystery and intrigue, with all questions and answers centering on the titular character, Jacqueline. The story begins when Jacqueline is found inside an apartment with a dead man and with the murder weapon in her hand. However, this may not be as simple as it seems as the young woman has no recollection of who the man is, who she is and where she is. The only thing she can tell is that her father is in grave danger and that she must do something to save her father from a similar fate to the man lying down in the room with her.

A thrilling game of cat and mouse soon unfolds as Paul Hewlett and Jacqueline tries to find answer about her bout of amnesia and the events that unfolded within that apartment. But as they work their way from Quebec and beyond further to the north, Paul figures out that someone is following their every step. What answers lie at the end of the path that Jacqueline started them on and who is this mysterious woman with no past?
