Pamela or Virtue Rewarded is a free audiobook adaptation of the novel written by Samuel Richardson. It is read by a various Librivox actors which does give the each chapter its own unique atmosphere. The story tells the tale of a young 14 year old girl named Pamela. The story is broken into parts which are taken from the letters written by Pamela to her underprivileged yet commendable and respectable parents.

In her letters, she speaks of her experiences as an old lady’s hand maid. She also mentions her master which she calls Mr. B. who makes unwanted advances towards her even after she rejects him constantly. Her story slowly unfolds as the parents as well as the reader/listener follows Pamela through her ordeals and discovers what fate lies in store for the young maid.
