Railway Children by E. Nesbit (Free Audio Book)

The Railway Children is a wonderful children’s book by Edith Nesbit. The story revolves around three children Roberta, Phyllis and Peter who are forced to leave their home since when father gets falsely accused for espionage. He is taken away and imprisoned, and at that moment everything changes for them.

The children used to live in a luxury villa with their happy family and now they are forced to stay in a poor cottage which is placed near a railway line. There, they meet great Old Gentleman who regularly takes a train at the nearby station. They soon become good friends and decide to work together in order to prove that their father is innocent.

The reading is done by Karen Savage. Her voice is the perfect match for this story. The story is great, the reading is beautiful. We highly recommend this story!
