Review: Emma by Jane Austen (Free Audio Book Review)

Emma is a novel by renowned author Jane Austen and was first published in December of 1815. As with a lot of Austen’s work, Emma once again delved deep into the intricate lives of people. In this case, it follows the story of Emma Woodhouse who is a headstrong and tends to overestimates her skills and talents.

The voice over narration in this free edition audiobook of Emma is top-notch. The narrator, Elizabeth Klett, delivers the story with subtle tone and tempo changes. She smartly changes her accent and line delivery to give life to each of the characters in the novel. This narration is very close to paid versions in terms of quality. A super combination of great story and high quality narration.
