Tarzan the Terrible by Edgar Rice Burroughs – A free audiobook

Narrated by Don W. Jenkins

This is a free audiobook based off of on one of the many adventures of Tarzan that was written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. This is in fact a sequel to the previous novel which saw Tarzan during the beginning of World War I. By the end of that story Tarzan believed that Jane perished when a fire was set by several German troops which burned their home down.

But when Tarzan searched the burnt rubble he did not find the body of Jane. This led him to believe that Jane is still alive out there. Two months passed and Tarzan eventually tracked down the clues to a mysterious valley that he himself is not familiar with. Upon entering this valley he finds himself in the midst of a forgotten world. Tarzan finds himself lost in a world where vicious dinosaur-like creatures roam the land and savage tailed humanoid tribes wage war with each other for territory.

During his search for Jane, Tarzan gets captured by one of these tribes but is able to prove himself in combat. This tribe hence gave him the name Tarzan-Jad-Guru which translates to Tarzan the Terrible. But will Tarzan be able to find Jane safe and sound in time in this world where everything must fight to survive at a daily basis?
