The Dragon’s Secret is a novel from renowned children’s author Augusta Huiell Seaman. Most of her works are already out of print but fortunately we have audiobooks to bring her work back to life in new and terrific ways. The Dragon’s Secret is a novel originally published in 1921 and is now available as a free audiobook narrated by the talented J.M. Smallheer.

The story takes place in New Jersey where Leslie Crane, a sixteen year old girl, accompanies her Aunt Marcia to their rest house. Her aunt currently has an illness and needs a place to relax and recuperate. The beach is a perfect place for this but soon Leslie becomes lonely as she could not find anyone else around her age to talk to and play with. But soon enough her path’s will cross with a new friend and together they will be thrown into the mystery of the mysterious old bungalow located near to where she and her aunt is staying.
